If someone said to you that you’re able to manifest anything, would you believe them? To say “anything”, is perhaps going a little too far. While it’s possible to bring about changes to your life or manifest something, there are some things which will be beyond reach.
It really is possible to get what you want, as long as you stay reasonably within the realms of reality. That doesn’t mean miracles won’t happen, it’s just that there’s no point in asking for the impossible. By this, I don’t mean things that are out of reach and appear to be impossible, but rather things which absolutely cannot and will not ever happen.
The more I study the Law of Attraction and manifesting, the more I believe too much mysticism has grown around it. There isn’t a secret magic formula known only to a privileged few, it’s something we can all practice with a little knowledge about it. Some of us are already doing it without knowing it and, unfortunately some use it unconsciously to keep them stuck where they are.
Align Your Beliefs and Goals
If you read the article 3 Reasons Why the Law of Attraction Won’t Improve your Life, you’ll know that apart from believing it’s real, you also must work on any self-limiting beliefs and take action. These steps are vital because it’s not really the Law of Attraction that brings about the change or manifestation, it’s you.
Rather than focusing on the end result, you should concentrate on you! Of course, you need to know exactly what you want and to be very clear about it, but as you’re the one going for it, that’s where you need to concentrate if you want to manifest anything.
This is why we say, you should become the person you need to be, in order to get what you want. It comes down to what the author Norman Vincent Peale wrote, change your thoughts and you change your world. If your beliefs aren’t in tune with your goals, you can kiss goodbye to reaching them.
Two Steps to Manifest
Making sure your beliefs and goals are in harmony is one of the principles of the Law of Attraction, but a lot of people don’t get it. Once you understand the fact it’s you that will bring about a change, it then becomes clear why your beliefs, which cause your actions, must correlate with your goals.
This idea of concentrating on yourself and what’s within, rather than your goals is explained very well in two books by Genevieve Davis, Becoming Magic and Doing Magic. You can find more about them at her website: becomingmagic.com. She says there are just two steps to getting what you want – asking and receiving.
The “receiving” step is the hard part, as mentioned earlier, it’s about getting yourself aligned with your goal or desire so it can flow to you. The “asking” step is interesting because Genevieve adds something to it which I’d not considered before I’d read her books.
A New Thought to Manifest Anything
It’s vital to know what you want to manifest for yourself. You should have it crystal clear in your mind, you must really, really want it and believe you will get it, but you shouldn’t keep asking for it. The reason is, that by continually asking for something, you’re reinforcing that you don’t currently have it.
By concentrating on your “lack”, your subconscious mind will go to work on delivering more of that to you, because that’s what it always does. That’s something I’d not considered, but it makes sense. Shift your focus from what you want, to being ready to receive it. Both books, Becoming Magic and Doing Magic, give valuable insights and advice on how you can experience the magic of the Law of Attraction and manifesting, which is why I highly recommend them.
To me, the Law of Attraction isn’t magic as in, abracadabra, but is magic, as in its description as a verb, which is, to move, change or create. Each of us has the power within us to make that kind of magic, if we have the will and desire to do so.
Be Clear and Adapt
Clarity is important – you’ve probably heard the saying, if you don’t know where you’re going, you won’t know when you’ve arrived. Be clear about each area of your life and how it might need to change, so you are ready for getting what it is you want.
You see, it’s not only your goal or desire you need to be clear about, it’s also you too. Circumstances may change, so you might need to adjust and adapt along the way. As long as you have clarity about yourself, any tweaks you need to make should become obvious.
If you really want to manifest anything, you and your inner beliefs are the starting point. It isn’t easy to change them, but is possible if you work at it – that’s where the magic happens!
